Area Arrests/Accidents 2/17/17

On Friday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

37 year old Robyn D. Cloe of Pana was arrested Thursday for attempting to defeat a screen test.

 

25 year old Brett R. Grant of Pawnee was arrested Thursday for possession of methamphetamine.

 

36 year old Tia B. Johnson of Taylorville was arrested Thursday on a bond forfeiture warrant with bond set at $5,000.

 

28 year old Mark. A. Callaway of Taylorville was arrested Friday.


 

On Friday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

20 year old Dustin J. Benedict of Taylorville was arrested Thursday for disorderly house and resisting a peace officer.

 

52 year old Pamela K. Benedict of Taylorville was arrested Thursday for disorderly house and resisting a peace officer.







 

Accidents:

 

29 year old Bradley D. Williams of Taylorville was traveling south on White Ave. 44 year old Jeremy J. Long of Franklin was heading east on Elm. Williams said he stopped at the sign and entered the intersection, striking Long. Williams said he did not see Long in the intersection. Long had a small contusion near his left eye, but refused medical attention.


23 year old Kyle E. Nation of Taylorville was heading north on cottage street. Nation stated he did yield, but didn’t see the van heading westbound on Elm. 62 year old Janet K. Christopherson of Morrisonville was traveling westbound when Nation pulled out infront of Christopherson in the intersection. Christopherson struck Nation on the back passenger side. No injuries were reported.
