On Tuesday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

51 year old Candice M. Spent of Taylorville was arrested Monday for contempt of court with bond set at $500.

26 year old Caleb L. Dean of Pana was arrested Monday for an issuance of warrant with bond set at $5,000.

Accidents:

54 year old Walter D. Harker of Taylorville was on a bike heading north on the sidewalk on the east side of Washington St. 34 year old Shalana A. Assad of Taylorville was backing out of her driveway right as Harker passed behind her, and struck Harker. No injuries were reported, and Assad took Harker to the store to get him a new bike.

17 year old Lauren D. Crews of Forsyth was traveling east on Franklin St. and drove around a mail truck sitting along the road. When Crews came back into her lane, she struck the rear end of another vehicle. No injuries were reported.
