On Monday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

40 year old Aron C. Strunk of Morrisonville was arrested Saturday for driving on a suspended license with bond set at $250.

38 year old Damon J. Chamness of Tovey was arrested on Friday for contempt of court with bond set at $1,000.

48 year old Bradley S. Vonderheidt of Bethalto was arrested on Sunday for violating an order of protection.

23 year old Zachery J. Hopley of Pana was arrested on Saturday for retail theft with bond set at $3,500.

On Monday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

44 year old Shad J. Richards of Taylorville was arrested Friday for contempt of court with bond set at $3,000.

25 year old Shalee M. Bayne of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for posession of methamphetamine with bond set at $10,000.

24 year old Kevin M. Rensman of Rochester was arrested on Sunday for aggravated battery and violating an order of protection.

Accidents:

28 year old David B. Crouch of Taylorville was southbound on Township Road 1000 East. 30 year old Daniel R. Otto of Kincaid was heading eastbound on Township Road 1800 North. Crouch failed to yield at the intersection of the two roads, and struck Otto’s vehicle. Otto then continued struck a fence on the southeast corner of the intersection. No injuries were reported.

21 year old Dalton D. Jackson of Springfield was traveling southbound on Route 29. Jackson lost control of the vehicle and skidded off the roadway to the right, eventually coming to a stop in the ditch. Jackson said he lost control of the steering, and that’s what caused him to skid off the road. No injuries were reported.
