Police Blotter

On Monday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

35 year old Dwain E. Sarver of Pana was arrested on Saturday for domestic battery.

 

30 year old Jacqueline K. Baker of Assumption was arrested Friday for driving with a suspended license with bond set at $2500.

 

27 year old Darci D. Moffitt of Owaneco was arrested Sunday for possession of drug paraphernalia with bond set at $1000.

 

24 year old Ryan E. Clay of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for possession of methamphetamine with bond set at $5000.

 

39 year old Tanya E. Beck of Springfield was arrested Sunday for DUI, driving on a suspended license, and causing a child to be endangered.



On Monday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

24 year old Sean L. McLean of Taylorville was arrested Saturday for disorderly conduct.

 

27 year old Michael L. Droke of Langleyville was arrested Saturday for driving with a suspended license and driving without lights when required.

 

20 year old Michael S. Harshani of Taylorville was arrested Monday for an issuance of warrant with bond set at $5000.

 

31 year old Skyler J. Myers of Peoria was arrested Sunday for possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft with bond set at $500.

 

38 year old Shawn D. Ackerman of Taylorville was arrested for battery.

 

 

ACCIDENTS:

 

40 year old Mary M. Farmer of Taylorville was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 29, and stated a deer ran into the roadway and she could not stop in time before hitting it. Farmer struck the deer causing major damage to the front end of her vehicle.


89 year old John E. Forbes of Taylorville was exiting Angelo’s parking lot, while 18 year old Wyatt E. Morman of Edinburg was exiting the Circle K parking lot. Morman stated he had exited the parking lot and began to travel westbound on Spresser St. and was struck by Forbes. Forbes and Morman exchanged information immediately after the crash. Forbe’s vehicle sustained front end damage and Morman’s vehicle sustained driver side damage. No injuries were reported.
