On Wednesday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

53 year old David R. Langen of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for contempt of court with bond set at $300.

On Wednesday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

25 year old Kody E. Campbell of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for burglary.

20 year old Samantha L. McCaughn of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for burglary.

24 year old Justin M. McKay of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for possession of methamphetamine with bond set at $25,000.

ACCIDENTS:

On January 10th at about 6:19 am, 29 year old Christina N. Olivio of Pana was southbound on IL Route 29. 34 year old Justin D. Short of Beecher City, and 20 year old Braden P. Bumgardner of Pana were both northbound on IL Route 29. Just south of Township Road 1100 North in Locust Township, Olivio drove into the northbound lane striking the driver’s side of Short and Bumgardner’s vehicles. Olivio and Bumgardner were transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash. Olivio was later released and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

On January 5th 29 year old Christina N. Olivio of Pana was traveling northwest on IL Rt. 29. At about 500 N., Olivio lost control of the vehicle due to snow on the roadway and went off the roadway to the left. Olivio’s vehicle went on the bike path about 50 yards away from the roadway where it went on it’s side. Olivio’s vehicle had damage to the driver's side of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

19 year old Rachel D. McCall of Nokomis was south on County 1. Around 720 North a deer ran into the roadway. McCall hit the deer causing damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
