On Thursday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
28 year old Jesse W. Mollet of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $2500.
39 year old Ronald E. Nigh of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for an issuance of warrant.
32 year old Thomas G. Perry of Springfield was arrested on Wednesday for an issuance of warrant. Bond was set at $5000.
37 year old Derek W. Dumonceaux of Bullpit was arrested on Thursday for violating an order of protection.
ACCIDENTS:
29 year old Marc D. Hopkins of Moweaqua was traveling east on 1900 North Road. Hopkins traveled off the roadway to the left, struck the ditch and overturned. Hopkins was taken to Decatur Memorial Hospital by his girlfriend to be treated for injuries.
62 year old William P. Kruidenier of Champaign was southbound on IL Rt. 48 approximately ½ mile north of 600 North Road when several deer ran out into the roadway. Kruidenier avoided the first few deer, however a straggler then ran into the roadway behind the first group and struck Kruidenier’s vehicle in the front end. Kruidenier then went off the roadway on the southeast side of the highway and came to a stop just off the roadway.
