On Tuesday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

26 year old Rodney G. Smith of Assumption was arrested on Monday on a bond forfeiture warrant for contempt of court. Bond was set at $3,500.

ACCIDENTS:

On December 1st, 28 year old Kaitlyn E. Wagoner of Taylorville was traveling west on Market Street and was passing through the intersection of Market and Madison Streets. 16 year old Kayden A. Wright of Sherman was northbound on Madison street and stopped at the intersection of Market and Madison. Wright did not see Wagoner and proceeded into the intersection, striking Wagoner’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
