On Wednesday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

23 year old Kaleb W. McCormick of Decatur was arrested on Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2500.

ACCIDENTS:

On October 11th 67 year old Phillip J. Begole of Pana was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 29. Begole slowed and stopped on the highway, about just south of township road 700N to turn left into the second entrance of the Christian County FS Plant. 49 year old David S. Law of Taylorville was also northbound on Illinois Route 29 and was behind Begole. The Begole stated he believed he had his turn signal activated. The Law stated he wasn’t paying attention and struck Begole’s vehicle. Due to the impact, Begole’s vehicle proceeded into the west ditch, striking the embankment. Begole was treated on scene for a minor injury to his hand.
