Area Arrests/Accidents 9/12/2016

-On Monday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

 

22 year old Patrick Miller of Springfield was arrested on Saturday for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

 

26 year old Brent Musser of Pana was arrested on Sunday for Driving on a Revoked License.

 

19 year old Jacob Andrews of Coulterville was arrested on Sunday for Violating an order of protection. Bond was set at $2,500.

 

21 year old Eric Merritt of Pana was arrested on Friday for Possession of Meth Manufacturing Materials.

 

30 year old Trisena Berning of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for Contempt of Court. Bond was set at $200.

 

-On Monday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News

 

30 year old Trishena Berning of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for a Bond County warrant.


28 year old Michael W. Emery of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for Resisting a Peace Officer.

 

 

Accidents

 

22 year old Patrick Miller of Springfield was traveling along Illinois Route 29 when he crossed the center line, striking 61 year old Peggy Trone of Rushville. According to the police report, Miller and was later arrested for DUI. Trone stated that Miller crossed her lane and struck the vehicle on the front and side. All parties involved in the accident had only minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

 

21 year old Eliza Coleman of Pana was involved in a single vehicle crash on Thursday. Coleman was traveling south on 2625 East Rd in Pana when she veered off the roadway into a large ditch on the west side of the road, approximately at 210 North Rd. Coleman advised she had been distracted by her telephone.


18 year old Noah Womack of Edinburg was involved in a single vehicle crash on Wednesday September 7th in Buckhart Township. Womack was traveling south on County Rd. 900 E when his vehicle traveled off the roadway to the right on the west side. Womack’s vehicle went into the ditch causing the vehicle to overturn and then come to a rest on the drivers side. Unit 1 passenger has unknown injuries and was transported to St. John's hospital by ambulance.
