On Tuesday the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
31 year old Joshua E. Bain of Pana was arrested on Monday on a bond forfeiture warrant for threatening a public official. Bond was set at $10,000.
25 year old Brylan A. Speer of Pana was arrested on Tuesday for aggravated fleeing or eluding an officer as well as driving under the influence of alcohol.
50 year old Debra S. Jones of Beecher City was arrested Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for an issuance of warrant. Bond was set at $2500.
On Tuesday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.
25 year old Brian J. Durbin of Taylorville was arrested on Monday for domestic battery, as well as interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.
58 year old Vickey L. Austin of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for battery.
Accidents:
33 year old Jess M. Curtin of Taylorville was traveling west on County Highway 6. As Curtin made the curve, Curtin’s vehicle ran off the roadway to the left and struck a sign at the edge of the roadway.
55 year old Leeanne Kinsella of Taylorville was westbound on TWP Road 2300 north. Kinsella stated that she swerved right to miss an oncoming vehicle. Kinsella drove off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and came back south across the roadway. The front end of Kinsella’s vehicle struck the left ditch embankment causing damage and for the airbag to deploy. Kinsella left the scene but was later located, arrested, and issued citations.
53 year old Deana A. Lair of Morrisonville was northbound on IL RT 48 approximately a half a mile south of 500 East Road when Lair was run off the roadway by another vehicle. Lair stated that a “burnt orange” SUV, possibly a Ford Edge, was south bound and pulled out into the northbound lane in an attempt to pass a white car. Lair was forced to take evasive action and go off the right hand ditch to avoid being hit by the other vehicle. Lair was not positive on the type of vehicle that almost hit them.
20 year old Dane P. Minder of Springfield stated a black car stopped in front of him to let another vehicle out of the parking lot on the south side of Springfield rd. 73 year old Barbara A. McElroy of Pawnee stated she stopped behind Minder when 32 year old Brandon E. Hudson of Jacksonville struck her from behind. McElroy said she was then pushed into the back of Minder. Hudson’s vehicle received major front end damage. McElroy’s vehicle received front and rear damage. Minder’s vehicle received rear end damage.
