On Thursday the Christian County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News.

20 year old Brandi R Hurley of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for retail theft. Bond was set at $3000.

ACCIDENTS:

On 5/18/2016 officers were dispatched to Rt. 29 at East Main Cross. Upon arrival officers made contact with 18 year old Kaycee L. Robinson of Taylorville. She was visibly upset and shaken. She said she tried to stop her 2005 Toyota Corolla, but skidded on the wet road way and an object. There were multiple square carpet tiles in the roadway. Robinson skidded and rear ended 45 year old Vern D. Owens of Taylorville’s 2011 Toyota Tundra. Robinson’s vehicle sustained major front end damage and Owen’s vehicle had minimal damage. Owens requested that Robinson be issued a citation due to the fact of the weather. No injuries were reported.
