The Pana Chamber of Commerce Ninth Annual Golf Outing, a 4-person scramble, will be held at the Pana Country Club on Friday, October 4 2013. The purpose of the outing is to raise funds for the project budget of the Pana Chamber of Commerce. The Pana Chamber hosts many events every year including the Annual Dinner, Pana Day’s Chautauqua, Blacksmith Hammer-In/Antique Tractor Show, Pana Open Car Show, Annual Block Party & the Annual Santa Parade and more.
The Golf Outing will be an 18 hole; four-person Scramble and tee time is at 1:00 p.m. with a Shotgun Start. Golfers are encouraged to put together their foursome and enter for a great day. Those that do not have at full foursome are encouraged to enter and will be placed with golfers to the complete the Team. The cost is $200 per Team ($50 per player). Entries are due in Friday September 27, 2013 or as soon as possible. Dinner and awards will follow the afternoon of golf.
As an extra bonus golfers who make a “Hole in One” on #7 at Pana Country Club (178 Yards) will put $10,000 in their pocket. Sponsorships are available on 3 levels-$100 for a Hole Sponsorship, $50 for a Birdie Sponsorship, and $25 for a Par Sponsorship. The deadline for the sponsorship had been extended to Friday September 27 2013 or as soon as possible. The Outing Committee is also looking for raffle and goodie bag items. Goodie Bag items need to be at least 50, so every player gets one in their bag. If you have something to be given for the raffle please drop them off early so bags can be made ahead of time.
