(Taylorville)--WTIM Newstalk 97.3 Radio in Taylorville today announced several programming changes that will take effect July 1st.
WTIM's 2 local interview programs, "Inside Central Illinois", heard weekdays at 2:10pm and 2:40pm, will move to 8:40am and 9:10am effective July 1st. WTIM's popular Open Line program will continue to air from 9:40am to 10am weekdays.
"The Dennis Miller Show", a 3-hour syndicated talk show from the Dial-Global Radio Network, begins airing on WTIM on July 1 from 2pm to 5pm weekdays. Miller, a long-time member of the "Saturday Night Live" cast, has produced a nationwide talk show since 2008, and is a contributor on Bill O'Reilly's program on the Fox News Network.
Miller's show features guests as well as calls from listeners.
WTIM president Randal J. Miller, in making the announcement, said he's thrilled to bring Dennis' unique brand of humor and wit, to Central Illinois listeners.
WTIM's local news updates will continue to air at the bottom of each hour during Dennis' show, as well as local weather at 6 and 33 minutes past the hour.
WTIM Newstalk 97.3 is part of the Miller Media Group, that owns and operates eleven radio signals that serve central and northwest Illinois. Corporate headquarters and studios for the 5 Taylorville-cluster stations are in Taylorville.
