THS football showed some muscle last Friday night when they took down Charleston 40-0 during the Tornadoes Homecoming game. Taylorville had a balanced attack against the Trojans both through the air and on the ground in the rout against their Apollo Conference foe.
Head Coach, Jeb Odam spoke on Newstalk WTIM's Saturday Morning Coaches Show and said how proud he was of his team for not getting overly distracted in light of all the festivities going on throughout the weekend.
Although the offense put a big number for Taylorville, the defense provided key stops along the road to that shutout for the Tornadoes, which in turn propelled them into postseason contention.
THS will look to finish strong with only 2 ball games left on the regular season schedule.
