The Taylorville High School Varsity Boys Bowling team ended their season on Saturday January 23rd with a 16th place finish in the Cahokia IHSA Sectional Tournament, which was held at Bel Air Lanes in Belleville. Collinsville, O’Fallon, Belleville East, Cahokia, Alton, and Jerseyville advanced to the IHSA State Finals.

For the Taylorville Tornadoes, sophomore Brock Swisher placed 27th overall individually as he rolled a 1303 series. Senior Holden Nagle placed 64th with a score of 1181, and junior Connor Smegal finished in 67th place with a six game total of 1173.
