The Taylorville Lady Tornadoes Varsity Basketball team will be playing Nashville tonight at the 30th Annual Scott Credit Union Highland Girls Basketball Tournament, with the opening tip starting at 6:30. The 49th Annual Litchfield Invitational Tournament has been updated with the remaining schedule for Friday and Saturday. The Taylorville Tornadoes Varsity Boys Basketball team will play #2 seed Metro East Lutheran on Friday night in the championship bracket at 7:30. If the Tornadoes win, they will face the winner of the Bethalto Civic Memorial vs Mt. Zion game for the championship on Saturday at 7:30. If the Tornadoes lose, they will play in the third place game at 5:30, against the loser of the BCM vs Mt. Zion game. All games in the championship bracket will be played at Simmons Gym.
#10 Nokomis will play #3 Pana on Thursday at Simmons Gym with opening tip at 7:30. The winner of that game will play the winner of the #8 Greenville and #4 Roxana game on Saturday at 4 p.m. for the Fifth Place game. The loser of the Pana vs Nokomis and the loser of the Greenville vs Roxana game will play for Seventh Place at 2:30 in Simmons Gym.
