State Representative Avery Bourne and her husband, Aaron Degroot welcomed a new addition to their family.  Their son Marshall Dean DeGroot, was born on Saturday, June 29th at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.  The baby weighed 7 lbs and 4 oz and was 20 ½ inches long.  The paternal Grandparents are Paul and Cindy DeGroot of St. Anne and maternal Grandparents are Rod and Kim Bourne of Pawnee. The Paternal Great Grandparents are Frances Lentz of Bradley and Maternal Great Grandparents are Lynda Skinner of Pawnee and Ruby Skinner of Jerseyville. Representative Bourne wants everyone to know they are doing fine and that her office in Litchfield will remain open.
