The beach at Lake Taylorville has been reopened.  Mayor Barry announced that the beach will be opened in time for the fourth of July holiday.  It's been closed since Thursday due to runoff and tests showed contamination in the water.  The beach is now open and for more information on Lake Taylorville or Taylorville Beach contact the Lake department at 217-824-5606.
