The Christian County TRIAD for Seniors (Seniors, Law Enforcement, Social Services) will be hosting a community shredding event Saturday May 11th from 9AM until 11AM. This event will take place at the CNB Bank & Trust parking lot located at 402 North Webster Street in Taylorville.  TRIAD Director Richard Peters says that they will take up to five boxes and that they are only taking shreddable items--not cardboard. 

The event will take place rain or shine and non perishable food items are requested for donation.  The food items will be given to the Taylorville Food Pantry.  The event is sponsored by CNB Bank & Trust.
