For those living and waiting on Social Security checks they often are wondering when the check should be arriving in the mail. 

Public Affairs Specialist with the Social Security Administration Jack Myers says when you receive your payment is based on your date of birth.

Myers does want residents to be aware however that there may be special circumstances where your check on the third of the month.
