It is no secret that Christian County and the surrounding area has been dealing with an opioid problem for a while now.
Congressman Rodney Davis represents the 13th District of Illinois in Washington. He recently spent time in Monticello with a family that lost their daughter to opioids.
Davis says it is sad to see that this is still a problem that is still prevalent in Central Illinois including his hometown of Taylorville.
Davis appeared as a guest on the Newstalk WTIM Morning Show.
