Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs has been hard at work fighting for Illinoisans to get them their money back.

Recently Frerichs has been keeping an eye on the Rebate Cards Bill, saying it isn’t fair for companies to send you a rebate card and apply dormancy fees.

Frerichs explains how the bill made its way to the floor, saying his office thought of this idea and how beneficial it could be for the state but it was up to the representatives to take it up.
