The race to serve Ward 3 in Taylorville was a close one Tuesday night between Billie Heberling and Megan Bryant. Just a handful of votes were the deciding factor as Bryant won the majority, and she’s looking forward to getting started.

With it being such a close race, Bryant made sure to thank her voters.

For what the future holds, Bryant is looking forward to representing her Ward, and speaking for the people.

Bryant won 54% of the vote.
