Nearly every day, flooding happens somewhere in the united states, and it’s important to be prepared. As a part of sever weather preparedness month, this week has been claimed Flood Safety Awareness week. Rebecca Clark says it is important for people to review their insurance coverage because a flood could happen quickly.

Flooding can always be a safety hazard, especially on the road. One phrase to go by is “Turn around, don’t drown”.

To avoid flooding in the home, make sure the sump pump in your household is functioning properly.
