Shelbyville residents know how lucky they are to have a lake like Lake Shelbyville. They know as well how lucky they are to have people like the folks with the US Army Corps of Engineers taking care of it.

Florey does acknowledge that the beginning months of every new year are a little slow but as for right now it is all about getting ready for spring.

Florey wants to give some praise to the inaugural banquet the Lake Shelbyville Fish Habitat Alliance put together as it exceeded expectations.
