It is tax season for Central Illinois residents. While some have gotten it out of the way early, others are still working through the forms.

Moultrie County Treasurer Stephanie Helmuth says some residents may be a little confused on the tax process.

While Helmuth does get involved periodically but it is normally when she has to talk to someone about what happens if they do not do their taxes.
