Wednesday was Governor J.B. Pritzker’s Budget Address. State Representative of the 95th district, Avery Bourne, has concerns with a lot of what the Pritzker addressed. That includes pushing pensions back a possible 8 years.
Bourne does believe there is opportunity in the future, but she is skeptical about whether or not that progress can be made.
In Pritzkers first Budget Address he asked for $1.1 billion in new revenue. That included the possibility of recreational marijuana, and sports gambling.
