Last night the Taylorville School Board met at their regular time, the agenda included personnel changes as well as an update on the Junior High.

The big news of the evening was when Dr. Fuerstenau announced that Taylorville, Nokomis, and Pana will be withdrawing from the Mid-State Special Education Cooperative. He explains what this means for those schools going forward.

A presentation took place to wrap things up at the end of the meeting as Taylorville Principal Matt Hutchison and Teacher Matt Blomquist shared with the school board an update on Building Trades coming back.

The Taylorville School Board meets on the second and fourth Monday’s of the month at 7:00.
