Last night President Trump gave the State of the Union Address, which was delayed due to the first government shutdown. Americans are hopeful that is the only shutdown although it appears as we might be right back there in less than 2 weeks.

Congressman Rodney Davis represents the 13th Congressional District of Illinois. He says that not all the blame should be on President Trump’s shoulders, there isn’t much he can do if the Democrats refuse to meet.

Still hopeful that the government shutdown can be avoided Davis says in the grand scheme of things the price tag isn’t as high as some might think.
