Congressman Rodney Davis will be headed to the State of the Union Address on February 5th, but he’ll be bringing a guest from Taylorville with him. Taylorville Fire Chief Mike Crews was invited by Davis to attend the Address as a thank you to his efforts in managing Taylorville after a catastrophic tornado wiped out more than 30 homes, and damaged hundreds of structures. 

Davis applauds not only Crews, but also other city officials for the tough decisions they had to make.

Along with being the Fire Chief, Mike Crews is also the Christian County Emergency Management Director.
