No Veteran Will Die Alone Program at Quad County Hospice

When the calendar flips from November to December Stephanie Helmuth will be ready to move into her new office to assume her new role as Moultrie County Treasurer.

Carol Chandler with Quad County Hospice says the No Veteran Will Die Alone program is one of their more popular programs, and Chandler gives a history of where the idea came from.

There are 17 veterans that are involved in the program. Rachel Springate is also with the Quad County Hospice, she says the pinning ceremony is always a special moment.

Chandler and Springate appeared as guests on the Newstalk WTIM Morning Show.
