Election judges at Taylorville precincts one and 2 located at the University of Illinois Extension Office on North Webster, tell Regional Radio News, that they had a line of people waiting to vote at 6 this morning when their polling place opened. They added that in the first hour of voting, turnout was brisk.
Those judges added they expect turnout at those 2 precincts, to be good today based on the number of people that voted in the 6 o'clock hour this morning.
Polls across Illinois remain open until 7 tonight.
