The time to cast your vote for the 2018 election season is coming quickly as election day is next Tuesday.
Avery Bourne is running to keep her seat representing the 95th District in the Illinois House of Representatives. She says in the week leading up to the election her team is still talking to potential voters to try to get them to the polls.
If Bourne does keep her seat representing the 95th District of Illinois it is right back to work as veto session is next on the schedule. Bourne says that Governor Bruce Rauner vetoed over 100 bills that they have to get through in six days.
Bourne appeared as a guest on the Newstalk WTIM Morning Show.
