The Christian County Historical Society and Museum wants to invite you out to the Persimmon Party this Saturday.
The day kicks of at 10 in the morning rain or shine and lasts till 3 in the afternoon. Maureen Bruns with the Historical Society and Museum says if rain is in the forecast they will move the party inside.
Bruns says at 11:30 in the historic court house there will be a history lesson that you do not want to miss. Those in attendance have the opportunity to learn about the Berkshire Hog.
