With the excepted high temps getting lower and lower as the day go on it is time to think about what to do with your plants.
Andrew Holsinger is the Horticulture Educator with the U of I Extension Office in Taylorville says your perennial plants will become dormant soon.
Holsinger acknowledges there are plants that can thrive in the winter months, and if you choose to put these in your garden it is important to not plant in too wet of a soil.
