On Saturday October 6th Shelbyville residents will be coming out to the Balloon Festival at Lake Taylorville.
Scott Jesson has been the Airport Manager since 2011. He encourages folks to come out and check out the air show, and for ages 8-17 they have the chance to go up in the airplane if they so choose.
Jesson says one thing they hope to accomplish is to help the youth gain some interest in planes, as aviation is seen to somewhat be dying off.
