Early voting began on Thursday which means that residents can begin to vote in multiple races within the Illinois government. That includes the race for Illinois Governor. Jessica Fox of the Shelby County Clerks and Recorder with more on early voting this year.
Fox also spoke on what voters who are not registered need to do, if they do not come in before October 9th.
Early voting is now through November 5th, the day before election day.
