For the past 6 months Taylorville Mayor Bruce Barry has been trying to lose some weight and has turned to Physicians Choice Wellness for some help.

Barry says his goal from the beginning has been to lose 50 pounds in a year and he is currently 24 down at the 6 month mark, but has struggled recently battling his busy schedule.

Mayor Barry says it is getting difficult to avoid the new restaurants that are coming to Taylorville but he is still trying to keep up with his weight loss.
