The Christian County Economic Development Corporation held their executive meeting on Thursday September 20th. Executive Director Marry Renner shared with Regional Radio News that a big portion of the meeting was discussing the new Business Development District. Renner had a lot of positive things to say about the new district, and is very please with Mayor Bruce Barry’s leadership.
Renner believes that the new TIF and Business Development District is vital to the growth of Taylorville. She says Pana has seen positive growth from their own district.
The majority of Thursday’s meeting revolved around the Business Development District, and Renner is very much looking forward to its impact on the city of Taylorville.
