Fall is the best time to plant a tree in your yard if you are thinking of doing so, this is according to Horticulture Educator with the U of I Extension Program in Taylorville Andrew Holsinger.

Holsinger goes on to say planting a tree is not as easy as just sticking it in a hole in the ground and watching it grow. There are some mistakes that he sees made repeatedly that he warns residents to avoid.

Holsinger says watering the trees can even be difficult. When watering the tree residents should take into account the size and where the tree is planted as well as the species of tree residents are tending to.
