The Walmart in Pana has announced that it will be closing its doors this October 12th. Christian County Economic Development Corporation executive director Mary Renner spoke with Regional Radio News on what she knows about the closure.
Renner also spoke on what the possible future holds for the Walmart building.
Pana Mayor Donald Kroski also spoke with Regional Radio news. Mayor Kroski on what he was told about the closing.
Pana will lose roughly 85 jobs with the Walmart closure, but Kroski wants citizens to understand that this may be sad, but it is important to stay positive. He says it is time for them to find businesses, and make it worthwhile to come to Pana
