Tornadoes Topple Trojans on Friday Night

The Taylorville Tornadoes continued their winning ways on Friday night after toppling the Charleston Trojans 40-13. Scoring got started off quick as return man Yemi Odugabason took back the opening kick off for the first touchdown of the game. The Trojans were able to tie the game with a run from running back Brayden Doyle from the 1 yard line. After that however, it was all Tornadoes, they scored 34 unanswered points, and put the game away with ease. Head coach Jeb Odam on the positives and negatives from the win.

Odam stressed that his team needs to do a better job establishing the run game, and also looked ahead to next weeks match up against Mahomet-Seymour.

The Tornadoes are back in action next Friday at Mahomet-Seymour. Pre-game starts at 6:45 in the evening on News Talk WTIM.
