The Board of Directors and the staff of the Christian County Historical Society and Museum have canceled Prairie Days which was set for this weekend. Maureen Bruns who is with the Historical Society says that the decision was for the best.
Bruns says that all vendor fees are going to be refunded due to the event being canceled. There is also has been a new date set for Praire Days.
The historical society does want to remind people that they are still holding their annual Persimmon Party, and Little Miss Persimmon Pageant on November 3rd.
