The Pana Tri-County Fair began yesterday, and the Pageant was the main event on opening night. Donna Kaiser who works with the fair spoke with Regional Radio News about why they added a Teen category to this year competition.
Gina Kuhn who also works closely with the pageant shared that being a part of the pageant is a years worth of work for everyone involved.
A father of two daughters who have been crowned, Kevin Anderson, understands the time commitment of becoming a queen. He says it keeps them busy, but teaches life lessons as well.
