This week, Taylorville is hosting two different blood drives. One being Thursday August 23rd, and the second on Friday August 24th. The Thursday blood drive will be held at Taylorville Memorial Hospital from 11 to 6 in the afternoon. The Friday blood drive is going to be at the Taylorville Chamber of Commerce from 10 until 3 in the afternoon. Christa Jiroutek, who is with the blood drive says it is preferred for people to plan ahead of time when it comes to donating blood.
Jiroutek says that she is really hoping to see around 90 donors come out this week, and that donating blood can save lives.
Once again, the blood drives are this week on Thursday at Taylorville Memorial Hospital, and Friday at the Taylorville Chamber of Commerce.
