Loving Arms Crisis Pregnancy Center in Taylorville held their annual Volunteer Celebration Cookout at Kiwanis Park on Lake Taylorville Saturday evening.

Executive director Cathy Coker explained the Center relies heavily on volunteers to provide its faith-based ministry in helping those with unplanned pregnancies, and support services for families with newborns.

Coker added the volunteers received plaques and certificates of appreciation at Saturday evening's event.

Plaques for 5 years of service to Loving Arms, went to (from the left) Steve Markwell, Stacey Wood, and Helen Kinsey.
