Steak N’ Shake appears to be putting the final touches on coming to Taylorville and residents are hoping that the restaurant will be in town by the end of the year.
Taylorville Mayor Bruce Barry says it still is not 100% but with Steak N’ Shake buying the land to potentially move in he would put the chances at 99.99% now City Council has to approve the incentives.
Barry says the incentives play a major role in getting Steak N’ Shake to Taylorville. Right now the City Council has a tentative agreement for the incentives it just boils down to dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s.
