Central Illinois farmers have been watching the news very carefully to see if there is any update on the Farm Bill in Washington.
Congressman Rodney Davis represents the 13th District of Illinois. He says he is happy the Senate was able to pass a Farm Bill and is hoping to serve on the conference committee for a second time.
Davis says the bills are similar on the agriculture side, but the biggest difference comes with food stamps.
Davis appeared as a guest on the Newstalk WTIM Morning Show.
