February is American Heart Month, and HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital is raising awareness for how to take care of one of the most vital organs in the human body.
Michael Queary is the Emergency Room Manager at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital. He says if you think you are having a heart attack, dial 911.
The hospital also recently held its eighth annual Red Event. The event raised almost $30-thousand to help support programs and services at HSHS Good Shepherd.
Queary says the Red Event is one of multiple ways they are getting the word out about American Heart Month and how to keep your heart healthy.
