After a serious all-terrain vehicle accident last month, Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp is reminding the public about ATV safety tips and regulations.
The accident happened outside of Assumption on January 20th. Three kids were hospitalized, one being seriously hurt and airlifted to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Kettelkamp says there have been many accidents and fatalities across Illinois because of ATVs on roadways.
Kettelkamp says ATVs are powerful vehicles and should be treated as such.
